What is a registered agent anyway?

A registered agent (also known as a resident agent or statutory agent) is a business or individual responsible for accepting service of process on behalf of a business entity. In addition, the registered agent’s address may also be where the state sends important paperwork such as annual renewal notices.

Part of our job is to help you in keeping your company in good standing. One of the ways we do this is by sending you reminder notices letting you know that your annual report is coming due. We can even be of assistance in getting the annual report filed for you.

When is the annual registered agent fee due?

If you are forming a new entity, or if you are electing to utilize our services for an existing entity, the annual fee is due at that time. After this, the annual fee is due each year on the anniversary month during which your entity was formed.
